Puvor Bohemian pieces are handmade fiber art and macrame wall hangings crafted using natural cotton fibers and traditional hand-knotting techniques.

To help preserve the beauty, structure, and longevity of your artwork, we recommend following the care guidelines below.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Unpack your piece as soon as possible after delivery.

Leaving your artwork inside its packaging for an extended period may prevent proper airflow and, particularly in humid environments, may affect the natural fibers.

Indoor use only.

Puvor Bohemian artworks are designed primarily for indoor use.

Exposure to rain, excessive humidity, and outdoor weather conditions may affect the appearance and durability of the piece.

Avoid direct sunlight.

Natural cotton fibers may gradually fade or change tone when exposed to prolonged direct sunlight.

To preserve the original appearance of your artwork, we recommend displaying it away from direct sun exposure whenever possible.

Keep away from heat sources.

Natural fibers are sensitive to excessive heat.

Please avoid placing your artwork near:

Fireplaces

Candles

Stoves

Heaters

Strong heat-emitting light sources

WHAT TO EXPECT OVER TIME

As with all handmade fiber art created from natural materials, you may notice:

Dust accumulation

Minor shifts in fiber direction

Slight tangling of fringes

Natural settling of fibers

Subtle color changes due to environmental conditions

These characteristics are a normal part of the aging process of handmade fiber art and are not considered defects.

CLEANING & CARE

Avoid water exposure.

Water may affect the structure, texture, and natural drape of cotton fibers.

Puvor Bohemian artworks are not machine washable and should not be submerged in water.

Dust regularly.

Use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove dust from the surface.

You may also use a vacuum cleaner on a low setting while maintaining a safe distance from the fibers.

Brushing the fringes.

A complimentary comb is included with your order.

If the fringes become slightly tangled during shipping, gently comb them to help restore their appearance.

Minor movement and shifting of the fibers during transit is completely normal.

Avoid excessive handling.

Our artworks are decorative pieces intended for display.

Frequent touching, pulling, or manipulation of the fibers may alter the natural shape and appearance of the artwork over time.

HUMIDITY & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Natural fibers can absorb moisture from the surrounding environment.

For this reason, we recommend avoiding placement in:

Bathrooms

Open balconies

Damp environments

Areas with poor ventilation

For best results, display your artwork in a clean, dry space with good air circulation.

STORAGE & TRANSPORTATION

If your artwork needs to be moved or stored, we recommend handling it carefully and protecting it from pressure or compression.

Wrap the piece in a clean protective material and store it in a dry environment away from moisture.

For long-term storage, avoid tightly folding or compressing the fibers.
